Located next to City Road Basin, part of Regent’s Canal, it offers waterside living with London’s trendiest boroughs a stroll away.

The latest addition to the growing Silicon Roundabout community

This 31-storey development offers luxurious apartments priced from £520,000 to £5m. Keen buyers are attracted by the distinctive design by Dutch architecture firm UNStudio, headed by Ben van Berkel, and stylish interiors by Johnson Naylor.

It was aptly named after the Venetian artist Canaletto who made architectural fantasies seem real in dazzling paintings of imagined buildings. The curved steel and glass façade is divided into three to five-storey clusters to suggest ‘neighbourhoods in the sky’, says van Berkel. Fluid forms in the structure echo the ripples of the canal water, with the contrasting of smooth and textured materials.

The style of the interiors is elegant, with a relaxed, homely feel. We worked with Sheppard Robson’s design team and the contractor in providing a solution to match the aesthetics and finish of the building. Our Quadra riser door systems, Arriva and Innova concealed frame doorsets were all chosen for a pristine effect throughout the tower.

We enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to this exciting development which signals the start of the regeneration of this key area.
