Junior Finance Assistant

Role Mission

Reports To Finance Director.

We are looking for a Junior Finance Assistant to provide outstanding customer service liaising with the finance team and ensuring all accounts tasks are dealt with in a timely manner. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work as a team and to fit into the Selo culture.  This is a full-time position based at our head office in Milton Keynes.


  • Responsibilities and Duties

    Reconciling closed projects

    Sales invoice reconciliation

    Sales invoice addition to Gross profit records

    Purchase ledger addition to Gross profit records

    Purchase ledger filing

    Purchase ledger cover as required


  • Key Competencies
    • Attention to Detail
    • Adaptability
    • Good knowledge of Excel
    • Use of SAGE/Xero or similar experience
    • Willingness to learn
    • 1 year minimum accounting/finance experience require

Purchasing Co-Ordinator

Role Mission

This position reports to the Operations Director


  • Responsibilities & Duties

    Anticipating requirements and purchasing at the best balance of price and volume

    Communicating with the Operations Director and gaining approval for purchasing contracts with new vendors or on new supplies

    Checking inventory, tracks how inventory is used, and adjusts purchasing habits in accord with apparent trends

    Place all orders requested by Project Managers and Production. Ensure they are logged promptly and correctly on the goods in smartsheet and keep in touch with suppliers to ensure they are delivering on time.

    Communicate with Project Managers and Production to ensure they are aware of progress.

    Bench-marking suppliers and negotiating to make sure the company gets the best possible prices and terms on needed supplies

    Build great relationships with suppliers to ensure that our orders can be expediated and updated as required
    Maintaining a network of professional contacts in order to discover new opportunities for improved deals on orders

    Meet suppliers so they have regular reviews of their service, ensure any issues and non-conformances are promptly brought to their attention and follow through until resolved satisfactorily and there is a process in place to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

    Maintain a supplier performance log.

Role Mission

The core mission of the Project Co-ordinator is to manage and coordinate projects from sales handover to a successful and efficient delivery to site. Exceptional customer service and rapport building is paramount.

This is mainly an office based role but will involve visits to construction sites for surveys to agree design and installation issues. It is important to note that we are a manufacturer & supplier, not a contractor, and therefore do not carry out installation work.


  • Sales Liaison

    Working with the sales team to finalise order details and take over the responsibility of contracts seeing them right through to completion. Attention to detail is a very important requirement.


  • Customer Liaison

    Working with customers to ensure their specific requirements are understood properly and met quickly and efficiently with first class Customer Service.


  • Supplier Liaison

    Working with suppliers to meet deadlines and get the best prices on goods supplied to achieve highest profit levels.


  • Delivery Liaison

    Working with both production and customer site teams to achieve accurate delivery of goods on time.
